📢 Emphasizing Personalized CCE Feedback for "Comment/Advice" in the Lesson Report
Dec 10, 2025
TMD
Hello, teachers! We are emphasizing our lesson report standards: Providing personalized feedback using the CCE (Commend-Critique-Encourage) structure is a mandatory component of every Lesson Report. A written CCE comment, including specific advice, is essential for every lesson report. The Human Advantage
In the age of AI, computer-generated feedback is generic, cold, and easily ignored. Our commitment is to provide a premium, human-led learning experience. The CCE structure gives students targeted advice and a motivating benefit, proving you are invested in their individual growth, which dramatically increases confidence and retention.
COMMEND – Start with praise. Example: “You did great in our lesson!”
CRITIQUE – Point out one area for improvement. Example: “Practice the /sh/ sound more.”
ENCOURAGE – Motivate with benefits and confidence.
Example: “With more practice, you’ll definitely improve your English skills. Strong communication is a huge advantage today!”
Your written feedback matters! Personalized feedback is proven to boost learning and confidence. Moreover, students remember only a fraction of what they hear. The valuable advice you provided during the class may be easily forgotten. But leaving it in the lesson report transforms the fleeting verbal advice into a permanent, clear reference point.
See the example on how your student sees your lesson report below.

Here are other inspirations you can use.
Focus Area | Commend (Praise) | Critique (Advice) | Encourage (Motivation) |
Grammar | Your ability to express complex ideas was excellent! | Focus on using the simple past tense accurately in your narratives. | Mastering these verb tenses will immediately boost your professional credibility. |
Fluency | I loved your energy and confidence throughout our discussion today. | Remember to use filler words (like "well" or "so") less often to smooth out your pauses. | Eliminating these small habits will make your spoken English sound much more polished and impactful. |
Vocabulary | You successfully used several new, advanced vocabulary words. | Try to practice using the word 'meticulous' in three different contexts this week. | Growing your targeted vocabulary will allow you to communicate highly specific ideas and impress native speakers. |
TH Sounds | You did well practicing the new vocabulary today! | Focus on differentiating between the voiced "th" (as in them) and the unvoiced "th" (as in think). | Consistent practice of the 'th' sounds will make your speech clearer, removing potential confusion for listeners. |
Vowel Sounds | I really enjoyed the depth of your answers in our conversation! | Practice the long 'e' sound, ensuring your mouth is wide for words like read and leave. | Clear vowel pronunciation gives your speaking a confident, professional quality that helps you stand out in every interaction. |
